The Pack is divided into age-appropriate small groups called Dens. Each Den works on specific rank requirements suited for their grade level.

Lions (Kindergarten)

Everything you need to know about joining our Scouting family.

When and where do you meet?

Our monthly Pack meetings are held on the second Friday of every month at 7:00 PM in the DuJardin School Gym. (Currently, with District 13 construction, Pack 194 is meeting at St. Walters School, Roselle, IL.) Den meetings occur at times coordinated by individual den leaders to accomadate each family's availability.

What is the cost to join?

Fees for the 2025-2026 School year are as follows:

  • $85 - National Membership Fee (Scouting America)
  • $85 - Council Program Fee (Three Fires Council)
  • $15 - Scouting Magizine (Optional)
  • $150 - Pack 194 Fees (Den and Pack Supplies, Advancement, Awards, Training)

*Uniforms are an additional one-time expense. Pack fees are prorated based upon when the scout joins the Pack.

Can girls join Cub Scouts?

Yes! Cub Scouting is open to both boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Pack 194 is a family pack with dens that accomadate both boys and girls.

How much parent involvement is required?

Cub Scouting is a family program. For younger scouts (Lions and Tigers), a parent or adult partner is involved in all meetings and activities. For older scouts, while a parent or guardian must attend all meetings with your scout, the activities and programs are more independant. Parent involved in the Pack is encouraged through volunteering for events, serving on the Pack committee, or becoming a leader.
